My approach
Willpower alone is not enough.
Let go of the illusion that screen time limits are enough. Let go of the guilt of not doing it perfectly. What kids really need is support in building healthier digital habits for themselves.
This isn’t a fair fight—kids (and adults) were never meant to have the willpower to resist technology that’s engineered to keep us hooked.
The good news? We can give students the tools to take back control—so technology becomes a tool, not a takeover. That’s why I founded Healthfully.
I’m Reichi Lee — a certified health and digital wellness coach with 25 years of experience as a children’s attorney, law professor, and leader in digital literacy and academic success. I’ve worked in classrooms, courtrooms, and community organizations, always with one goal: to equip young people with the skills they need to thrive.
With me, you won’t get a list of “shoulds” or impossible rules. You’ll get practical, ready-to-use strategies that help kids:
Build healthy tech habits they can stick with.
Navigate AI wisely and safely.
Think critically about what they see, share, and create online.
The result? Less blame. Less shame. More control and lasting well-being.
