FAQs

Building healthy digital habits isn’t a one-size-fits-all journey.

Whether you’re curious about what digital health means or how Healthfully’s services work, our FAQs dive into the details. Reach out if you don’t see the answers to your questions here.

  • Digital wellness is the active practice of maintaining a healthy, balanced relationship with technology so it supports—rather than harms—our mind, body, and relationships. It goes beyond limiting screen time. Rather, it’s about:

    • Using tech intentionally instead of mindlessly.

    • Protecting our attention from constant interruptions and distractions.

    • Navigating online risks like misinformation and harmful content.

    • Fostering healthy habits that opens up our world rather than closing it down.

    • Knowing when to unplug to recharge in the real world.

In other words, digital wellness means tech works for us—not the other way around.

  • It depends. Some clients are able to make use of their professional development or wellness stipend at work for the cost of coaching or online courses—please confirm with your employer. For some individuals, certain work-related education expenses may qualify for a tax write-off. Please consult the IRS rules.

  • The free consultation is conducted virtually. Most of my workshops are offered virtually for client convenience, but I’m happy to arrange an in-person delivery if its feasible. Similarly, consulting services can be offered virtually or in-person. My home base is in the San Francisco Bay Area but I frequently travel to New Orleans, Louisiana and Taipei, Taiwan. I serve clients across the U.S. and internationally.

  • Please reach out for a free consultation to discuss how I might be able to help.

  • What’s unique about me is that I connect digital habits to whole person well-being—I don’t just focus on limiting tech use. I help kids and families protect their attention and mental health with a focus on building skills—like focus, critical thinking, and responsible AI use—that will serve them for life. And as a long-time health coach, I have a track record of helping people reach and sustain their goals.

Finally, as a busy parent myself, I know the last thing we need is more on our to do list. I keep up with the latest issues and research on tech use so you don’t have to. Utilizing my background in education and skills development, I translate that into clear, doable strategies that fit into busy lives.
