About Reichi
Willpower alone is not enough.
Let go of the illusion that screen time limits are enough. Let go of the guilt of not doing it perfectly. What kids really need is support in building healthier digital habits for themselves.
This isn’t a fair fight—kids (and adults) were never meant to have the willpower to resist technology that’s engineered to keep us hooked.
The good news? We can give students the tools to take back control—so technology becomes a tool, not a takeover. That’s why I founded Healthfully.
I’m Reichi Lee — a certified health and digital wellness coach based in the San Francisco Bay Area with 25 years of experience as a children’s attorney, law professor, and leader in digital literacy and academic success. I’ve worked in classrooms, courtrooms, and community organizations, always with one goal: to support families and equip young people with the skills they need to thrive.
I started out as a litigator handling harassment and discrimination claims, but the most meaningful work I found was representing kids in the foster care system—making sure they got the education and support they deserved, and partnering with parents, teachers, and counselors to put their needs first.
That drive to put kids first led me to higher ed, where I built academic skills-based programs to help struggling students succeed and launched one of the nation’s first hybrid online law programs with a technology/privacy law focus.
Most recently as a director at a digital literacy nonprofit, I designed digital wellness and citizenship workshops for students, parents, and educators, and directed our teen internship programs—empowering youth to be their own change agent when it came to tech habits they wanted to change.
Alongside my work in law and digital wellness, I’ve spent over 20 years as a certified health and fitness coach—helping people take action and achieve personal transformations they did not think was possible.
I’m also a mom to two amazing screenagers—my best teachers in life.
With me, you won’t get a list of “shoulds” or impossible rules. You’ll get expertise in navigating complex challenges, a deep commitment to wellness and youth success, and practical, ready-to-use skills and strategies that help kids:
Build healthy tech habits they can stick with.
Navigate AI wisely and safely.
Think critically about what they see, share, and create online.
The result? Less blame. Less shame. More agency and control, and lasting well-being.
